Scrapstore

Get involved with our Scrapstore

Our Northumberland Scrapstore service collects reusable resources from local businesses. We then redistribute them to charities, community organisations, and schools - for use in creative repurposing, such as arts, crafts, and technology projects.

Supported Volunteering

We work with organisations who support adults and young people with additional needs

We provide opportunities for people with special needs to contribute to their communities and to develop employability skills and confidence, through a range of pathways to volunteering.  We work in partnership to provide individual, remote, and group volunteering activities.

Activity Boxes

Find out about our purposeful activity boxes.

We also reuse unwanted materials to make purposeful (and enjoyable) activity boxes for a variety of people with disabilities, autism, dementia, with physical/brain impairment, and those who are elderly – supplying to care homes, day provision centres, etc.
